What Our Wedding Bar Service Includes
Every wedding deserves a bar experience that’s as thoughtfully planned as the event itself. When you book with Scottsdale Event Bartenders for your wedding, you’re getting a complete, turnkey bar service — not just someone pouring drinks. Here’s what’s included:
- Certified bartender(s) with AZ Title 4 certification, professional hospitality training, and real wedding experience — they know how to read a room, pace service, and keep the energy going
- Portable bar setup — multiple style options from rustic reclaimed wood to sleek modern bars and LED-lit setups that double as a centerpiece
- Custom signature cocktail design — “his & hers” drinks, themed menus, or a curated selection crafted around your wedding’s colors, season, and personality
- Champagne toast service — perfectly timed pours coordinated with your DJ or planner for that special moment
- All mixers, garnishes, ice, cups/glassware, and napkins — we bring everything so you don’t have to worry about a single detail
- Full setup before guests arrive + complete cleanup and breakdown — we arrive early, set up while you’re getting ready, and leave your venue spotless at the end of the night
Scottsdale Signature Wedding Cocktails
We design a custom cocktail menu for every wedding — tell us your theme, color palette, or just your favorite flavors, and we’ll create drinks that feel like they belong at your celebration. Here are a few crowd favorites from Scottsdale weddings we’ve served:
- Prickly Pear Margarita — An Arizona classic with vibrant magenta color and crisp desert flavor. Perfect for outdoor desert receptions and always a conversation starter.
- Desert Sage Paloma — Tequila, fresh grapefruit, and local sage for a refreshing herbal twist that feels uniquely Southwestern.
- Scottsdale Sunset — Gin, blood orange, and rosemary over ice — a cocktail that looks as stunning as the Sonoran sky at golden hour.
- Champagne Cocktails — Elevated bubbly with floral or fruit infusions for toasts, cocktail hour aperitifs, and late-night celebrations.
- Seasonal Specials — Citrus-forward drinks and warm toddies in winter, frozen cocktails and agua frescas in summer. We always match the season.
Every menu includes non-alcoholic options — crafted mocktails with the same care, presentation, and creativity so every guest feels included.

Planning Your Wedding Bar — Tips From Our Team
How many bartenders do you need?
The standard rule is 1 bartender per 50–75 guests. For weddings with a separate cocktail hour and reception bar, we always recommend at least 2 bartenders so lines stay short, drinks keep flowing, and no one misses a moment of the celebration.
Open bar vs. limited bar — what’s right for your wedding?
An open bar gives guests full freedom and creates the most relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. A limited bar with beer, wine, and 2–3 signature cocktails keeps your budget predictable while still feeling generous and intentional. Many couples go with a hybrid: open bar for cocktail hour, then beer/wine plus signatures for the reception. We’ll help you figure out the best approach for your crowd and your budget.
How much alcohol should you buy?
Plan for roughly 2 drinks per guest for the first hour, then 1 drink per person per hour after that. We’ll build a detailed alcohol shopping list tailored to your guest count, drink menu, and event timeline so you purchase exactly what you need — no overbuying, no running out.
When should you book your bartender?
We recommend booking 3–6 months before your wedding, especially during Scottsdale’s peak season (October through May) when nearly every weekend fills up. If your date is coming up sooner, still reach out — we accommodate short-notice bookings whenever we can.
Tips for an outdoor desert wedding bar
Arizona heat is real, but it’s nothing we haven’t handled hundreds of times. We bring shade canopies for the bar station, insulated ice bins that keep everything cold for hours, frozen cocktail options guests love in the heat, and we choose garnishes that hold up outdoors. Your guests stay refreshed and comfortable no matter the temperature.
Why Couples Choose Us for Scottsdale Weddings
Thank you especially to Kendra and Dominique for the assistance and to Kenya for the bar service.
The bartender they sent was so nice! His name was JT, he showed up an hour before our event and was very professional. He was such a pleasure to have! Our guest loved his service and suggestions! At the end of the night he even made me a drink before he left without me asking for one! What a sweet and thoughtful gentleman! A total 5 stars for this bartending company!
